Valentine's Day :)

Woke this morning not feeling to giddy.  I took a Benadryl around 11:30 p.m. and was still feeling it's effects.  My daughter did not like just receiving her heart with candy in it.  Where is her card she says...My son loved his.

On the bright side even though my hubby will be working today and tonight I am looking forward to spending the day with him tomorrow.  Gotta love a day off! I am also so looking forward to this 4 day weekend!!

I am rethinking the whole giving up soft drinks diet and all..hmmmmm can I make it through it.

I am heading for a fairly busy week myself.  Three basketball games for my two children with work, school, homework.  One good thing..basketball is the only allowed sport this year.  May seem crazy but our schedule gets so busy--Crazy busy.  I'm blessed with a job that allows me to use vacation time to leave a little early to try and get some things done before the game.  I don't like being rushed and I don't like rushing my kids.

 

On a happy note we have learned our Scripture this week :) John 14:15 next weeks a little longer exp for a 10 year old boy!  Took my time -I get to work early-with God.  Should be a great week if I continue putting God first.

Thanks to my husband who took our daughter to school so I could have 30 more much needed time to sleep.  It has been cold and breezy-cold being 50 degrees this is S.C.! 

Basketball tonight so my husband is cooking hamburgers for supper before I get home.  I have many things to be thankful for!!

This has been a crazy week but it's almost over, Yeah!!
I am thankful my parents are well.  The talk around the office is of people taking care of their parents and I think my weeks are busy!

Outside my window...Bright and Cold...32 this morning COLD for SC standards!

I am thinking...After a three day weekend and a late basketball game for my girl...Tuesday a.m. are tough!

I am thankful...for the heat.

In the kitchen...will be rushed again as my son has family night at the elementary school and the hubby has a fire dept. meeting.

I am wearing...cardigan in a shade of pink black tee.

I am hoping...to spend more time on my son's memory of his scripture for basketball.  He didn't know it last night...partly my fault!

I am looking forward to...the weekend already..

Around the house...I am sure our dog Lilly is enjoying it right now!

Outside my window...dreary day maybe snowflakes tonight..from 80 degrees to snow flakes in one week wow-SC weather is interesting!

I am thinking...Thankful I have my car out of the shop after a week!

I am wearing...brown slacks, sea blue green sweater, the kids wore shorts yesterday!

I am going...to have Monday off..So glad!

I am looking forward to...My anniversary date with my husband, taking the day off to enjoy the whole day with him in February.

I am learning..I repeat some mistakes so many times....I have to remember that God's still working on me!

Anniversary Ideas??

Anniversary Ideas-really 16 years already!

My 16 year anniversary is approaching.  So my sweet husband has said we can do anything on that day I choose within reason LOL.  So although movies and dinner may sound boring we don't have many date nights with his busy schedule.  I  am thinking a trip to the new HomeGoods store is on the list and breakfast out...other than that I'm not sure.  Does anyone have any ideas??  We married at the beach so I was thinking maybe a beach trip.  We are close by. 

I plan to not be too selfish and put him through a ladies clothes store shopping trip.  I am picky and my clothing shopping even drives my mom crazy!
